We have received some great feedback from everyone on the initial launch of our MD reviews tracking tool. We also received some great ideas for improvements — one of which was to separate out patient ratings from patient reviews. Many sites are now allowing patients to simply add a rating for a doctor without actually leaving a comment about the doctor. We are classifying these “ratings” as well “ratings” in our tool and we are now tracking them separately from “review” which we consider to be actual comments posted by patients.
An example of what we are finding on reviews sites can be seen in the screenshot below. This MD would see a total of 7 reviews reported for this site along with 12 ratings.
The actual findings from our tracking tool can be seen below.
We hope the tool is saving MDs valuable time as well as helping then keep tabs on what is being said about them online. As always, we welcome any comments about the tool you might have and we’d love to hear about it if you have found the tool beneficial.
