We released an exciting update to our SEO (search engine optimization) tool today which included historical graphing of
- SEOmoz Page Authority
- Google Rankings
- Total Links
We have been collecting this data on all tracked phrases for the last month in anticipation of this update. As we continue to collect more data going forward, the graphs will become more and more interesting.
You can see an example above from the MDWebPro site. The Blue line represents the rank in Google which is updated each week. We are considering inverting the ranking graph so that the line climbs when rankings improve. Right now you would want to see a descending line as your position in the SERPs gets closer to #1.
Unfortunately PageAuthority and Total Links are only updated about once per month so right now those sections of the graph look pretty flat. We are excited to see 6 and 12 month views of this data.
